The core advantage of polyurethane sandwich panel lies in their outstanding thermal insulation performance. At the same time, under temperature variations of 30°C, the dimensional change of the panels is less than 1%, ensuring long-term use without deformation.
The fire resistance of polyurethane sandwich panels can reach Class B1. Polyurethane sandwich panels are flammable, but they stop burning just 3 seconds after being removed from the flame. Although slightly inferior to rock wool sandwich panels in this regard, they still meet basic fire safety requirements.
Structurally, thanks to the two layers of metal panels on the top and bottom, polyurethane sandwich panels have good structural strength. The compressive strength of polyurethane sandwich panels is greater than 150 kPa. However, the core material is polyurethane foam, which makes the panels 30-60% lighter than traditional products. This makes polyurethane sandwich panels the preferred material for lightweight construction.
